TECHNICAL HSE CONSULTANT

  • QUALIFICATIONS: – Degree or equivalent certified technical training. Current BOSIET and Offshore medical desirable.
  • DUTIES: – To undertake work on risk and process safety projects as allocated by the Project Manager / Lead, to agreed quality, costs and timescales. To help identify and secure opportunities to deliver consultancy services to meet client requirements
  • EXPERIENCE: – Have experience in the Oil and Gas industry in Design, Production and Exploration
  • Competencies to include: -HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, – Audit, Knowledge and use of Bowtie Analysis, HSE Case Development for Production and Drilling Facilities.
  • Good Knowledge of the Offshore Drilling Industry is key to this role as will be travel and conducting hazard workshops and compartment studies as part of the MAHRA and HSE Case development. Knowledge of HSE Case requirements meeting EU Directive, SCR 2015, IADC and PSA requirements
  • DELIVERABLE – Ensure quality of Technical content of reports – Increase commercial awareness with respect to potential new opportunities with existing clients, incorporating “added value”. Are willing to travel to meet client needs.

TECHNICAL SAFETY/RISK ENGINEER

  • EXPERIENCE: – Have experience in the Oil and Gas industry in Design, Production and Exploration
  • Competencies to include: -HAZID- HAZOP – SIL – Consequence & Likelihood Modelling (Delivery) – QRA (Delivery) – Process Safety Management (Auditing) – Safety Report Development (Writing) – Oil and gas process safety – Knowledge of 18001 (Auditing / Management System design) – High level of attention to detail – Strong analytical and report writing skills – Are willing to travel to meet client needs. Be responsive and proactive to requests from the project manager and Lead – Contribute to delivery of risk technical projects on time, within cost, and alongside customer satisfaction. – Effective team worker, able to work efficiently within project teams across a broad range of technical disciplines. – Communication with clients – Present to clients – Excellent written English – Operate in line with HRM Values and Code of Ethics.
